merit...beyond the badge
“Scouts in Service” is an annual day of service to the poor. Scout Troops come together for a volunteer day that helps teach the importance of service to the community. Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts of all ages complete projects including sorting donated items and putting together hygiene packs for the homeless. The projects are followed by lunch and an optional tour of the St. Vincent De Paul Watkins Campus.
Scouts in Service is not yet scheduled for 2012. For more information, please contact Hugo at (602) 850-6749.
